The Incredible Insolence Of Miss Sixty... Part 1

So, supposably everyone has been waiting for the long-time-ago announced-to-be-released Miss Sixty shi... *cough* stuff. It's been on ads and all kinds of fiddling messages from Stardoll to their members, and now it's there.

I seriously thought for a while that they had finally gone sane again, I mean, just take a look at what they did: first DIY (though for Stars only, BUT they did have a great black top for Non-Stars ;)), then Basics (and that one REALLY rocks!), then the Starplaza Archive (and besides all the really badly designed stuff there HAVE been some good things!), now and then some LE and the all-new Antidote (okay, LE = SUCKITCH) (...and I'm still waiting for new AD!), and besides all that some new Vivienne Tam, DKNY, Philosophy and Elle.

But Miss Sixty RUINS IT ALL. (Okay, besides that NOTHING we got for the 40 million members hurdle...)

I'll just start from the beginning.

My friend Elaine (who still wants to join this blog!)) noticed something strange when she visited the Starplaza. Not only did she find all that Stars-only non-combinable LE-for-those-that-have-wasted-all-their-money MS stuff, she also noticed that some of these items seemed freakin' familiar to her.

Which made her go and look up things.

And you know what?

She found a CHEAPER PARTICULARLY NON-STAR LOOK-A-LIKE item for EVERY SINGLE MS THINGIE!!!!!!

She stuffed all the clothing twins into her Starplaza closet and screenshot it. Every single item.

And you won't believe the fact that you could save up ZILLIONS! of Stardollars if only you'd pick the alternative options!

Another Pointless Post...?

So yeah, I'm back to school (ugh), means little less time for Blogger, Stardoll, all the other blah and stuff, but actually it's not that bad. Still, I'm pretty bored like every second minute.

What I actually wanted to say is several things about updates.

#1: New people/shop section. You might have noticed it visiting the main page: SD finally updated the 'people that have just signed in' thingy. It now displays a picture of your medoll, your age and country. I think that's prrrrrrrrretty good :) And the latest stuff to show up in the StarPlaza is there, too. Oh, and you can also take a look at what's new in the MiniShop.

#2: At the moment it looks quit like the blog is kinda FROZEN! *brr! xD* So this is somewhat of a reminder to you, my dear dear dear JuLy <3, and a reminder to you, my dear dear dear Laine <3, to come over and have a hangover! ^^

#3: MeDoll gotta nu face.
So I herd u liek maekovaz? Yeshee! Hence my deary beloved avatar now has radical short cut hair! And it's back to black! (yeah! ^.^)
Means, I can finally wear my black beret again. And now that the sixth P&E game has been released, I guess it'll (too) soon be over. Positive thing about it: I'll get to unpack my loads and heaps of stuff! Which now even contain some Kohl's (would liek to wear dat in RL 2), Moxie's (OMWATF? Liek Barbie ur wut?) and Black Star (three Avril Lavigne storez in SP now, u haz 2 hink about theez!).

Oh and by the way, I finally got myself to making that dang scenery with four Royces and four Laines (thanks for volunteering again!) that are wearing several good combinations from what I bought during P&E. Right now I'm not in the mood to sign and post it, I'll get back to that later.

Right now I'm off to the TV! w/o translating for now! -> cuz mee = boredz! (and hungry ._.)

New StarPlaza Searching Function?

Now this is getting me curious.

I just went back to the Starplaza since I finally had found someone that had those black Elle shoes that are now in Stardoll store for Non-Stars at a price of 5 SD only.
Unfortunately, said shoes weren't on the 'Hot In SP' section anymore so I had to search them separately. And tadah. This is what suddenly showed up.




















Wanna know what it says when you hold your mousepointer over those new squares?
It says: 'Multi Color', 'Gold', 'Silver' and 'Logo/Printed' (on the colored ones) as well as the same plus 'theme' on the upper ones.

Interesting! So finally we get this (so far very) unprecise thing fixed? I think Stardoll is finally doing something good again. :) (You know, beside the fact you may have to change your MANUAL proxy now to get all the free HM gift shit)

Das macht mich jetzt echt neugierig.

Ich bin gerade erst ins Starplaza gegangen, da ich endlich jemand gefunden hatte, der diese schwarzen Elle-Heels hatte, die man jetzt im Stardoll-Store auch als Non-Star für 5 SD bekommt.
Leider waren besagte Schuhe nicht mehr in der Hot Section, also musste ich extra nach ihnen suchen. Und tadah, plötzlich bekam ich das hier präsentiert.




















Neugierig, was da steht, wenn man mit der Maus über die neuen Felder fährt?
Bei den Farbfeldern steht: 'Multi Color', 'Gold', 'Silver' und 'Logo/Printed', und bei den oberen steht dasselbe und außerdem noch etwas von 'Theme'.

Interessant! Wir bekommen also endlich diese (bislang alles andere als präzise) Suchfunktion verbessert? Ich habe fast das Gefühl, Stardoll macht endlich mal wieder etwas Vernünftiges. :) (Sehen wir mal darüber hinweg, dass man in letzter Zeit sogar manuell seinen Proxy verändern muss, um diesen ganzen gratis HM-Rotz zu kriegen)

The Hot Buys That Stayed Four Months.

Heh, so I was bored and went to the Starplaza. Checking what crap Hot Buys you could buy if you were Superstar. So, I checked all the stores, and at the end when I counted if any item was missing, I noticed there were 13 items in my wardrobe. So I somehow found all those HB entries in the magazine and surprise! Guess what I found.

The fuchsia jumpsuit was part of the March 2009 Hot Buys. And the gray bubble pants and the blue buckle heels were part of May 2009 Hot Buys, as far as I can remember.

So, Stardoll. Good morning, we have July! I mean it's okay by me if you leave that stuff in the Starplaza, but will you ever pay attention to this? Like to the Huge-bug (all I'm saying is that the PotD/Aliens in the Attic necklace from last week is so huge you could almost call it a cardigan...^^'), you see? And I heard people say that the latest Hot Buys bag, the transparent purple one, had been acting like furniture?

One word: Gawsh.

Nun ja, mir war halt langweilig und ich bin ins Starplaza gegangen. Hab in allen Läden nach Hot Buys gesucht, und am Ende gezählt, ob ich alle hatte. Und da bemerkte ich, dass da 13 statt 10 Hot Buys-Items in meiner Umkleide waren. Also hab ich im Magazin nachgesehen...

Der magentafarbenen Jumpsuit war Teil der Hot Buys vom März 2009. Und die grauen Ballonshorts und die blauen Keil-Heels waren im Mai 2009 Hot Buys, soweit ich mich erinnern kann.

Also, Stardoll. Guten Morgen, wir haben Juli! Ich meine, es stört mich nicht, wenn ihr die Sachen einfach im Starplaza lasst, aber werdet ihr dem Problem je Aufmerksamkeit schenken? Und wenn ja, werdet ihr dann wieder so schlampig arbeiten wie jedesmal, wenn der Riesen-Bug auftaucht? (Ich sage nur: Pick of the Day von letzter Woche, die Aliens in the Attic-Kette ist zwar jetzt da, aber sie ist so groß, dass man sie fast als Cardigan bezeichnen könnte... ^^') Zumal ich sogar gehört hab, dass die violette, durchsichtige Hot Buys-Tasche nur als Möbelstück erkannt wurde...?

Another Pick Of The Day Problem.

So, today's german pick of the day is a super cute Aliens in the Attic necklace. I really wanted that, plus it was free. Now, to my own surprise and disappointment, when I clicked on it, I was redirected to my suite but couldn't find the necklace. I thought to myself that maybe it was just another glitch. After having tried again several times, I decided to log on via proxy since it seemed possible that only US users could get it but the picture was also displayed in Germany. So, I used aplusproxy.com to get to the mainpage, but the Pick of the Day there was an Ashley Tisdale poster! It just seemed too weird, but the poster was there in my suite, the necklace was not. Another weird thing was that when the picture of the necklace hadn't been displayed yet, it said something about a red velvet dress and below was the necklace text.
I really wonder why SD is pranking us like that.

Als ich mich heute auf die Stardoll-Startseite begeben hab, hab ich eine richtig niedliche Aliens in the Attic-Kette gefunden. Ich wollte sie unbedingt haben, zumal sie ja auch kostenlos war. Aber zu meiner Verwunderung und Enttäuschung wurde ich zwar nach dem Klick auf die Kette in meine Suite geschickt, konnte aber die Kette nicht finden. Ich dachte mir, dass das vielleicht nur ein weiterer belangloser Fehler im System wäre. Also entschied ich mich nach mehreren missglückten Versuchen, diese Kette zu bekommen, das ganze via Proxy zu erledigen, da es nicht gerade unwahrscheinlich erschien, dass nur Mitglieder aus den Staaten die Kette bekommen würden, das Bild aber auch in Deutschland angezeigt werden würde. Also bin ich auf aplusproxy.com gegangen, um zur Hauptseite zu gelangen, aber da war der Pick of the Day plötzlich ein Ashley Tisdale-Poste! Es kam mir wirklich seltsam vor, aber das Poster tauchte in meiner Suite auf, die Kette nicht. Was auch ziemlich verrückt war, war die Tatsache, dass, als das Bild der Kette noch nicht angezeigt wurde, da etwas von einem roten Samtkleid stand und darunter stand was von der Kette..
Ich frage mich wirklich, warum Stardoll uns so dermaßen verarscht.

Doo Da Doo, Life's A Sunflower!

Ja, schon wieder. Ein neues Blogdesign.
Das letzte Mal, als ich es geändert habe, war es Frühling, glaube ich. Dieses traurige Schwarz war so pessimistisch, als hab ich es in ein frühlingshaftes niedliches Rosa geänderrt. Der komplette Blog wurde zu einer riesigen Zuckerstange, inklusive dem Header. Dann kam JuLy und wir waren zwei postingverrückte Mädchen.

Dann wurde mir der Süßkram zu viel. Der Frühling war fast zu Ende. Und da Lila scheinbar inoffiziell zur Farbe des Jahres erwählt wurde, suchte ich mir ein violettes Template aus. Sah ziemlich nett und stylish aus. Dann, eines Tages, als ich auf Stardoll In Our Eyes unterwegs war, sah ich, dass ihr Team dasselbe Template wie ich hatte. Ich wusste nicht, ob sie das nun von mir hatten oder nicht, aber es störte mich nicht.

Heute bin ich aufgewacht und die Sonne schien mir direkt ins Gesicht. Irgendwie musste ich lächeln. Dann loggte ich mich bei Stardoll und Blogger ein, um zu P&E zu gehen und mir danach wieder was bei Basics auszusuchen. Und dort waren wieder diese ganzen optimistischen Farben. Und dieses weiße Sommerkleid... Ich bezahlte also und ging zu meinen Sceneries, um wieder ein wenig mit meinen Klamotten herumzuprobieren und sie miteinander zu kombinieren. Ich wählte also die Strandscenery, aber sie erinnerte mich an meinen letzten Dänemark-Strandurlaub von vor zwei Jahren. Und das war der Moment, an dem ich mich dazu entschied, ein neues Blogger-Template zu suchen.

Und hier ist es! Mein Blog strahlt jetzt vermutlich fast schon ein Stück heller als die Sonne. Er sieht endlich sommerlich aus, und vielleicht kommt bei mir auch irgendwann die Stimmung auf. In letzter Zeit haben sich viele Stardollianer zurückgezogen, um den Sommer draußen anstatt drinnen zu verbringen, aber da das Wetter hier wirklich abenteuerlich stürmisch ist, vermute ich, ich werde einfach weiterhin drinnen bleiben und Stardoll ein wenig aufpeppen! Bitte antwortet auf die neue Umfrage!

Und um dem ganzen Post jetzt noch ein hübsches Ende zu setzen, hab ich eine gute Nachricht... hier taucht bald auch Laine auf... und ich arbeite gerade an neuen Headern!

So, what chu say?

Yeah, again. A new blog design.
Last time I changed it it was spring, I guess. That sad black was just so pessimistic so I changed it into a cute springy pink. I transformed the whole blog into a huge candy cane, including the header. Then there came JuLy and we were just two girls posting.

Then I got tired of candy. Spring was almost gone. Since purple was declared the color of the year, I chose a violet template. Looked quite nice and stylish. Then, one day when I visited Stardoll In Our Eyes, I saw they had the same template. I don't know if they got it from me or something, but I didn't think that would be a problem.

Then today I awoke and a sun of ray hit my green eyes. And that was when I got kind of happy. And then I logged on to Stardoll and Blogger and I went to P&E and I went to Basics and I saw so many colors. And just that white tube dress. Then I made my purchase and went to the sceneries to try to combine my clothing items. And then I chose the beach scenery. And then I felt like I had just come out of the water, like on my last vacation in Denmark two years ago. And that was when I went to search a new blogger template.

And here we go! As yellow as the sun is, is now my blog. It has reached its summer state and so have hopefully all of our minds. Many Stardollians lately decided to spend the summer outside instead of inside their houses, but since the weather here is just crap I guess I'll stay inside and keep on totally tuning Stardoll! Please answer the new poll!

And to finish this off, some great news for ya... Laine's gonna come soon... and I'm making new blog headers!

Dann wurde mir der Süßkram zu viel. Der Frühling war fast zu Ende. Und da Lila scheinbar inoffiziell zur Farbe des Jahres erwählt wurde, suchte ich mir ein violettes Template aus. Sah ziemlich nett und stylish aus. Dann, eines Tages, als ich auf Stardoll In Our Eyes unterwegs war, sah ich, dass ihr Team dasselbe Template wie ich hatte. Ich wusste nicht, ob sie das nun von mir hatten oder nicht, aber es störte mich nicht.

Heute bin ich aufgewacht und die Sonne schien mir direkt ins Gesicht. Irgendwie musste ich lächeln. Dann loggte ich mich bei Stardoll und Blogger ein, um zu P&E zu gehen und mir danach wieder was bei Basics auszusuchen. Und dort waren wieder diese ganzen optimistischen Farben. Und dieses weiße Sommerkleid... Ich bezahlte also und ging zu meinen Sceneries, um wieder ein wenig mit meinen Klamotten herumzuprobieren und sie miteinander zu kombinieren. Ich wählte also die Strandscenery, aber sie erinnerte mich an meinen letzten Dänemark-Strandurlaub von vor zwei Jahren. Und das war der Moment, an dem ich mich dazu entschied, ein neues Blogger-Template zu suchen.

Und hier ist es! Mein Blog strahlt jetzt vermutlich fast schon ein Stück heller als die Sonne. Er sieht endlich sommerlich aus, und vielleicht kommt bei mir auch irgendwann die Stimmung auf. In letzter Zeit haben sich viele Stardollianer zurückgezogen, um den Sommer draußen anstatt drinnen zu verbringen, aber da das Wetter hier wirklich abenteuerlich stürmisch ist, vermute ich, ich werde einfach weiterhin drinnen bleiben und Stardoll ein wenig aufpeppen! Bitte antwortet auf die neue Umfrage!

Und um dem ganzen Post jetzt noch ein hübsches Ende zu setzen, hab ich eine gute Nachricht... hier taucht bald auch Laine auf... und ich arbeite gerade an neuen Headern!

Random News And A Question. (de/en)

Okay, let's get this started in the english version.

I have several things to say but I don't know which one I should start with. I'll just pick something random.

Stardoll has released some 'Miley' clothes lately. They had the name 'Miley' in it so I guess that means Miley Cyrus, Disney starlet, once wore them. I do like Miley very much and I often see candids and photographs of her. Such as the ones that show what she wore to the latest Award Shows on the red carpet. But I don't think I have ever seen that one dress on her. On the other hand, there's another dress in the SP now that looks quite like one glittery dress she wore to the UK premiere of the HM movie, dontcha think...? Anyways. Just something to start off with.

Going on, the SD strike has happened to take place the day before yesterday! Did you take part? Do you think SD even realized us striking? Do you think SD will change something now? (Although I feel like they already changed alot compared to what they change throughout the rest of the year...See how many dresses they made available for Non-Stars now?) Was it hard staying away from SD for 24 hours or was it a bless?
I have to say that I was suffering a little since I wanted to know what that Hot Buys sun hat would look like. As expected, it's Superstars only. Too bad. I like this one. (And did you see that the violet fishy skirt from last month's Hot Buys is 12 SD but for Non-Stars TOO?? That's kind of a Non-Star LE item! =P)

By the way, the (de/en) thingy in the headline means I'll release that entry in German and English.

Next thing. Stardoll is kind of super stupid, don't you think? Anybody who hasn't been sleeping the last few weeks will have realized that the 10 SD black/white Miley dress in the Starplaza's New section is exactly the dress we could get for free just by watching the HM movie trailer in the cinema! Kind of odd I guess, but they might never fix it though.

Talking about Miley... why do they always just release Disney starlet's clothes? I guess they'll come up with the entire (virtually displayed) WalMart Miley clothes collection at the Starplaza, they might even open up a new shop for it! Is that just hysteric or Miley fandom or is it a hidden contract with Disney forcing SD to advertise Miley?

Tomorrow is Independence Day in the USA as far as I know, and for that reason SD has released some USA clothes too. Definitely a whopper are the shoes! Such kind of shoes go perfectly well with basic jeans and tees. I'm not living in the US and I don't think I'll celebrate tomorrow (why would a kid living in Germany go parading through the streets like a patriotic whacko holding up the Star-Spangled Banner and scream the National Anthem of the USA as loud as I could?) but I'll get those shoes probably. Why? They look comfortable.

Thinking about countries, who of you watched the Princess Protection Program movie? That's a title freaking hard to spell. Actually I'm just waiting for SD to come up with some PPP clothes. Or some random Selena Gomez stuff. Demi Lovato will do too, I guess. I like them all, but I guess I like Selena the best. She's most like me, that's why, probably.

Time for some Off Topic.
It seems like finally it's summer. I was melting yesterday but I didn't wanna go out. The solution of that problem? I put on my new bikini and flip flops and put my sunglasses on and then I got myself an ice cream. And then I sat down on my bed and kept watching House. House is so cool that the temperature outside went down from 90°F to 66°F in an HOUR. And then a thunderstorm started. I love House. ♥

Last but not least... which one is best??

The items of the first two outfits were the ones I bought at the beginning of P&E. Now that the last game is out, I guess it'll end soon (hasn't it been three months now??). The bad thing about it: we will probably all miss our free five Stardollars per day. The good thing about it: I can finally unpack my items and pimp my wardrobe! Call me a fashion icône! =P

Ich hab einiges zu erzählen, aber ich weiß nicht, womit ich anfangen soll. Ich werd mir einfach was raussuchen.

Stardoll hat letztens ein paar 'Miley'-Klamotten ins SP gesetzt. Da sie den Namen 'Miley' beinhalten, gehe ich davon aus, dass Disney-Star Miley Cyrus sie mal getragen hat. Ich mag Miley sehr und ich sehe oft Candids und Fotos von ihr. Zum Beispiel solche, auf denen man sieht, was sie zu den letzten Awards auf dem roten Teppich anhatte. Aber dieses eine Kleid hab ich noch nie an ihr gesehen. Andererseits ist da im SP auch diese andere Kleid, das ziemlich nach dem aussieht, das sie zur HM-Filmpremiere im Großbritannien getragen hat, oder...? Egal. Damit wäre der Anfang getan.

Vorgestern war endlich der Stardoll-Streik! Habt ihr mitgemacht? Denkt ihr, Stardoll hat von unserem Streik überhaupt was mitbekommen? Denkt ihr, SD wird jetzt etwas verändern? (Obwohl ich das Gefühl habe, im Vergleich zum Rest des Jahres haben sie in letzter Zeit schon viel verändert. Ist euch eigentlich mal aufgefallen, wie viele Kleider jetzt auch für Non-Stars sind?) War es eine Qual, ganze 24 Stunden von Stardoll wegzubleiben?
Ich muss zugeben, ich wollte schon dringend wissen, wie der Hot Buys Sonnenhut aussehen würde. Aber wie erwartet ist er nur für Superstars. Eigentlich schade, denn ich mag ihn sehr. (Und habt ihr mal den violetten schuppigen Rock der Hot Buys vom Juni gesehen? Er kostete zwar 12 SD, aber er ist auch für Non-Stars! Es kommt mir fast vor wie ein Non-Star LE Item! =D)

Übrigens, das (de/en) in der Titelzeile bedeutet, dass ich den Artikel sowohl auf Englisch als auch auf Deutsch veröffentlichen werde.

Kleine Frage: Wie viel Intelligenz haben die Leute von Stardoll noch? Richtig, es muss wirklich extrem wenig sein, damit man sowas zustande bringen kann. Das schwarzweiße Miley-Kleid, das man für lau bekommt, wenn man sich im Cinema den HM-Filmtrailer ansieht, gibt es im SP jetzt für 10 SD. Richtig, es ist genau dasselbe Kleid. Ziemlich seltsam, finde ich, aber es wird den Leuten von SD wohl nie auffallen.

Wo wir gerade von Miley reden... warum erscheinen im SP immer nur Sachen von Disney-Stars? Ich vermute mal, irgendwann wird die komplette WalMart-Kollektion von Miley erscheinen, vielleicht wird sogar ein neuer Laden daraus! Ist das jetzt nur Hysterie oder schon Fanatismus, oder hat SD womöglich einen geheimen Vertrag mit Disney und muss daher Werbung für Miley machen?

Die Art von Schuhen kann man super mit stinknormalen Jeans und T-Shirts tragen. Ich lebe ja nicht in den Staaten und ich denke auch nicht, dass ich morgen mitfeiern werde (warum würde ein Kind, das in Deutschland lebt, wie ein patriotischer Psychopath durch die Straßen stolzieren, die Flagge der USA hochhalten und so laut wie möglich die entsprechende Nationalhymne brüllen?), aber vermutlich werde ich mir diese Schuhe holen. Warum? Sie sehen gemütlich aus.

Da ich gerade bei Ländern bin, wer von euch hat Prinzessinnen Schutzprogramm gesehen? Ich kann das kaum aussprechen! Eigentlich warte ich nur darauf, dass SD uns ein paar PSP-Klamotten präsentiert. Oder was Originelles von Selena Gomez. Oder auch von Demi Lovato. Ich mag sie alle, sowohl Miley als auch Selena und Demi, aber ich glaube, ich mag Selena am meisten. Sie sieht mir am ähnlichsten, vielleicht deswegen.

Zeit, um etwas vom Thema abzukommen!
Es scheint, als ob es jetzt endlich Sommer wäre. Gestern bin ich echt geschmolzen in der Hitze, aber ich wollte auch nicht rausgehen. Meine Lösung für dieses Problem? Ich hab mir meinen neuen Bikini samt Flip Flops und Sonnenbrille angezogen/aufgesetzt und dann hab ich mir eine Eiswaffel geholt. Zu guter Letzt hab ich mich auf mein Bett platziert und House geschaut. House war dermaßen cool, dass die Temperatur in nur einer Stunde von 32 auf 19 Grad gefallen ist! Und danach fing es an, zu gewittern. Ich liebe House. ♥

Um das Ganze hier mal zum Ende zu bringen... welches Outfit ist das beste?

(Waren das jetzt nicht schon drei Monate?) Das Schlechte daran: wir werden vermutlich alle unsere 5 Stardollar für lau jeden Tag vermissen. Das Gute daran: ich kann endlich meinen ganzen Kram auspacken und meinen Kleiderschrank neu einsortieren! Nennt mich eine Fashion-Ikone! =D

Jetzt bin ich aber wirklich fertig.

Stardoll On The Wave Of Graciousness!

...or how else should I call it?

I haven't been on in five days.
Five days ago the Starplaza seemed to be kinda like the #1 source for (way too expensive) superstars-only clothes. Very impressive ones particularly, but also ones that looked like they were designed in the 80s. Ones with the structure and pattern like off a photograph, ones painted with that stupid and too simple drawing program that this stupid operating system always had installed with it from the start. Lately this technique had also been used for producing and designing Stardolls themselves, like e.g. T-Pain - who, for some odd reason, is an alliteration of the program's name...
I logged back in today and checked for my million club messages. Also checked the MiniShop to find some super cheap *COUGH* babys plus some stuff so they don't hang out in your suite naked. VERY ODD of Stardoll to SELL BABYS. I feel kinda pranked, since nobody would ever do this in real life. Except for Baby Borns maybe.
Anyways.

I came back today.
And the Starplaza suddenly seemed like heaven to me. Like a vacation present for the past school year. VERY ODD AS WELL!
Since there were thousands of items for non-superstars too now, you know. And there even was a new shop. I don't expect it to stay for a long time, but it somehow like a DIY store for non-superstars. With pastel colors. AND I LOVE IT! Although some of those colors are really weird to wear and they don't match my medoll's skin type really, but I like them. They are just the basics (I guess that's the reason the store's called 'Basics') and you can combine them with everything. I want the entire collection!
But it's not only the new store. If you used the search function in the entry section, you might have found several new dresses for non-superstars too, and they look good! Plus, at the new store there is like a million of cute tube dresses! It doesn't only seem like the petitions against superstar stuff domination were successful, it also seems like Stardoll finally gets the point of them: Without the non-superstars, Stardoll is GOING DOWN. And it won't if it goes on like this!

All in all... I AM PROUD, I AM HAPPY, I FEEL GOOD. Thank you, Stardoll, for making this Sunday afternoon a real good one! =)

1.: Thx Roxy, für das was ganz unten steht :) du bist auch gorgeous (hoffentlich schreibt man das so) und bin froh deinen blog gelesen zu haben :P
2.: Roxy hat Recht! So ziemlich ALLES wird nur mehr für Superstars, hallo, uns gibts auch noch!? Und überhaupt, alles kostet sooo viel Kohle. Langsam fang ich an zu glauben, dass Stardoll nur ordentlich Geld machen will. Naja, ist doch so oder? Alles nur mehr für Superstars....grr!! Ich hasse es! Das ist echt dumm, überhaupt wenn man sein Geld NICHT für SOWAS rausschmeißen will (wie ich zum Beispiel)! Meine Eltern würden dass auch nie erlauben und ich hab besseres mit meinem Geld vor. Ich hab mir schon überlegt IRGENDWIE mit Stardoll in Verbindung zu treten. Oder nicht? Alle Non-Superstars: Wir müssen uns alle gegen Stardoll wenden, dann wird das hoffentlich anders!

The Sad Story Of Hot Buys.

Anyone noticed that?
Out of all the April 2009 Hot Buys, TWO items were non-superstars too: the headband and the necklace.
Out of all the May 2009 Hot Buys, ONLY the cuff was non-superstars too, and it was 4 SD.
Out of all the June 2009 Hot Buys so far, NONE of the items was not only for superstars.

You see? Hot Buys is going all superstars only! And I DISAGREE with THAT one! It's a shame Stardoll wants to make all the members superstars so playing on SD is still fun! Thoughts?

Von allen Hot Buys-Items vom April 2009 waren ZWEI Stück für Non-Stars: das Haarband und die Kette.
Von allen Hot Buys-Items vom Mai 2009 war EIN Exemplar nicht nur für Superstars, das war das Armband für 4 SD.
Von allen Hot Buys-Items vom Juni 2009 (bislang) war NICHTS auch für Non-Stars.

Ist das nicht einfach fies? Es scheint, als ob Hot Buys in Zukunft nur noch für Superstars zum Kauf zugänglich gemacht werden! Und ich bin hier wie so oft einfach DAGEGEN! Stardoll sollte sich schämen, allen, die beim Spielen auf SD noch wenigstens ETWAS Spaß haben wollen, eine Superstar-Mitgliedschaft aufbrummen zu wollen! Gedanken und Meinungen dazu?

FREE TV? How come...?

Very odd thing.
I just went to the StarCinema to get my Hannah Montana tee. Thought to myself, the Australian proxy doesn't work that fast, better try it with an american one. Voila, went there, no Hannah Montana but a Princess Protection Program trailer. And now this.
I went back to my suite and I found more than just my everyday starplaza bag in front of my wardrobe. There was a huge golden envelope and when I opened it it said that I was invited to the preview party of PPP. VERY ODD.
Going on.
I looked at my Starplaza stuff and was happy about my recent investment when I suddenly discovered this little blue present box. Wondered, how come I get a BLUE present? Even a present itself? But when I clicked on it it didn't even say it was from the SD admin. I clicked on it again, and voilà a totally free TV (with the Confessions of a Shopaholic logo) showed up. Nice item for my suite but I don't know where to put it yet. Might look good beside my bed.

So my advice to you: Go look for an American server if you're not from the US. Go check out the Starplaza and log in if you have to use the server, and as soon as you go back to your suite (, my suggestion, that is) there should be a cute envelope and a free TV and your P&E items. I wonder when it'll run out. I start buying crap that's more expensive than 5 SD, and I guess that's exactly SD's strategy. Make non-superstars buy items that would cost them something just because they think it costs less since they have their everyday free 5 SD. ODD.

Gets me quite sick and tired.

Sale Season. And this time Stardoll's getting serious.

It's back. The non-superstar's feared horror.

SALE.

And this time it's kinda like Stardoll is sorting out whole THEMES.

Theme One: Tingeling is finally getting rid of its most hilarious items. E.g. the Superwoman outift or the colorblock bodysuit. Which I would rather recall as a whole-body thunderstorm protection suit.

Theme Two: Casual Non-Buys. Like several items from Fudge. And they're even taking us the few acceptable orange items. I especially like the orange button dress and the turquoise-gray.orange one, and certainly I would've bought the pink Bollywood top too someday. Unfortunately it'll be gone in a week. I seriously need a Superstar membership.

Theme Three: Folk decided to chuck away some items that I have never seen in anybody's suite. Just like the jade necklace (according to the bangles that I once bought) and its matching earrings, or the Aba'as (which actually look very glamorous in my opinion). I actually never really care for the Folk items since they have a very specific style, you almost can't combine them. The only thing I count to the best items I've ever bought are the black Mocassins. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM. ♥

Theme Four: Valentine's Day is over. So is its theme finally, and Stardoll doesn't only get rid of the most childish clothes from Pretty in Pink but also of the best ones... And the best ones, if you ask me, are that red swingy dress, the rosé butterfly dress, the bow sandals (which also make me wanna buy a Starship!), etc. pp. Also the yellow bow belt is out. The graphics might have disgusted me A LITTLE, but it was actually the cutest belt in the starplaza. I think I regret not having bought it.

Theme Five: Vivienne Tam is totally on sale! Every single item is priced down. Pretty sad actually, since some of the VT dresses were very beautiful and classy, the perfect match with the old Sephora makeup. I really want the membership now since a lot of these dresses were my alltime favorites! Too bad on one hand, on the other hand great since I expect a new VT collection to come up.

Theme Six (yeah, I told you they're getting serious!): ELLE Sale! Actually too bad too, since these items were great everyday outfits. Fortunately not all the items are on sale but the older collection is.

I think I'll seriously get myself a code now. There's so much I would've wanted so much!


By the way, the dilemma has come. I start buying weird accessories, tons of belts, MiniShop items and wall decors. I guess tomorrow I'll get the Pier and waste 5 additional SD.

Pick Of The Day... From Nowhere?

Odd, very odd.

I was just about to make my everyday 5 SD purchase when I noticed I hdan't played a P&E game already. So I quickly went back to the main page. But - oh surprise! Although I had re-opened the Starplaza several times, it suddenly said there was a new pick of the day!

Of course I wanted to go check it out before starting to play for my 5 SD, since it could have been the same bug as the Philosophy shoes one: being released on the Starplaza for Non-Superstars but then later turned Stars only. (By the way, Laine GOT the shoes she bought and still they are Stars only now, so at least Stardoll didn't punk her for the additional 4 SD she spent.)
In case I had absolutely loved an item, I would have instantly gone get my 5 SD and then make the purchase, hoping that it would still be Non-Stars only.

And now comes the odd thing. I clicked on the PotD window and as always it redirected me to the Starplaza. But normally, though, it would have now been in my hands. Instead of that... THERE WAS NOTHING! No Pick of the Day or whatever!














Stardoll should learn to do things first and THEN advertise them. I always land in Bisou store where the bag should be... and this bag would have rescued my 5 SD since I didn't know what to buy otherwise. Hello Dilemma!

Jetzt seht euch mal an, was ich gefunden habe, als ich so durchs Starplaza geschlendert bin. Und zwar auf der Suche nach etwas im Wert von 5 SD, das ich mir mal kaufen könnte (dank dieser ganzen Play&Earn-Geschichte, kennt ja inzwischen jeder).

Ich war ECHT überrascht, als ich das gesehen hab. Ich war quasi überrumpelt von Überraschungen. Aber seht selbst.

Erste Seltsamkeit: Erste Anzeichen der nächsten Sale-Saison.
Heißt soviel wie das rot-weiß gestreifte Kleid von Pretty in Pink war mal nur für Superstars für den Preis von 5 SD. Scheinbar über Nacht ist der ganze Spaß jetzt auch für Non-Superstars verfügbar geworden. Seltsamerweise konnte ich nichts anderes für Non-Stars finden, das ebenso über Nacht Nur-Stars geworden ist, so wie die PiP Frill Front Blouse letzten Monat (die Rabatt bekommen hat, nachdem sie zwei Tage lang für Nicht-Stars erhältlich war) und das EP Tiger Print Top (das mal 5 SD wert war und zwar auch für Nicht-Stars, sich aber über Nacht in ein 5 SD Superstar-Top verwandelt hat)...

Zweite Seltsamkeit: Ein einziges Paar Schuhe von Voile Gentlemen steht schon verbilligt zum Verkauf.

Dritte Seltsamkeit: Die Spoiler für Philosophy 2009 wurden gerade erst veröffentlicht und schon kommt der ganze Fez von selbst ins Starplaza. Schon ziemlich spät für nen Spoiler. (Übrigens, ich halte die Bezeichnung für ein Gerüchtt, denn selbstverständlich wird das Zeug NICHT nur den Frühling über im Starplaza erhältlich sein, sondern länger als drei MOnate, zumal der Frühling offiziell eh schon fast vorbei ist...)

Vierte Seltsamkeit: Play and Earn. Hört. Nicht. Auf. Langsam fängt es an, mich zu nerven, immer Memory spielen zu müssen, damit ich 5 SD bekomme. Für Stars mögen das ja sehr wenige sein, aber für nen Nicht-Star bedeuten sie schon die Welt. Sie füllen in letzter Zeit quasi unsere wahnsinnig leeren Suites auf. Ich hab mir gedacht, dass ich erst alles Gekaufte auspacke (ausgenommen das Zeug fürs Gesicht, also den MeFace-Schmuck, da ich mich ja gut erinnern kann, was ich im Verlauf der Aktion gekauft habe), wenn Play and Earn zu Ende ist, denn danach habe ich wahrscheinlich am meisten Spaß, meinen Kleiderschrank komplett neu zu sortieren und meine MeDoll aufzustylen, denn immerhin ist das ein Haufen Zeugs und Kram, den ich mir schon zugelegt habe. Irgendetwas Gutes muss es ja an sich haben, dass Stardoll auch uns Nicht-Bezahlern noch was TOLLES gönnt.
Natürlich, einerseits ist es ein tolles Geschenk von Stardoll, obwohl wir dafür 'arbeiten' müssen, aber andererseits lässt es mich darüber nachdenken, wann es denn aufhört? Ich meine, jetzt mal ehrlich, das geht jetzt schon drei Wochen so. Es hat am 27. April angefangen, soweit ich mich erinnern kann, und auf diese Art und Weise hat Stardoll uns mittlerweile 115 SD GESCHENKT!!! Was mir das ungute Gefühl gibt, dass sie uns irgendwann dazu zwingen, das alles von selbst zu bezahlen, oder aber es ist ein Bug, den sie einfach nicht gefixt bekommen, und deshalb wird es Play&Earn jetzt für immer geben, weil sie es einfach nicht abgestellt bekommen. Und auf diese Art und Weise wird Stardoll niedergehen.
Vielleicht wundert ihr euch jetzt, warum ich darüber so denken. Aber im Ernst, geht doch mal auf die Hauptseite. Das ist die vierte Woche von P&E. Und da sie mit beiden Spielen schon in die Aktion gestartet sind, dem Celeb Snapshot UND dem Style Memory, haben sie fast nichts verändert, soll heißen sie haben kein Spiel wieder weggenommen (was irgendwie auch heißen könnte, dass es noch länger geht), aber sie haben von gestern auf heute das Celeb Quiz hinzugefügt. Soll heißen, wenn ich das Ganze realistisch sehe, dauert Play&Earn vielleicht nochmal mindestens ein paar Wochen. Was so viel heißt wie ich werde sicherlich in dem Dilemma landen, von dem ich nicht mal hätte TRÄUMEN können: Ich werde nicht wissen, WAS ICH MIR KAUFEN SOLL, sei es nun im Starplaza oder im MiniShop in meiner Suite. Soll so viel heißen wie: CRAM, ich weiß nicht, was ich davon halten soll.

Und zu guter Letzt, soweit ich denke, die fünfte Seltsamkeit: All die neuen Philosophy-Schuhe WAREN KURZZEITIG NICHT-SUPERSTAR ITEMS. Und die Versionen mit Riesenhacken mit kleinen Bindebändchen kosten 12 SD, während die flachen ohne Bändchen nur 9 SD kosten. Heißt soviel wie, für jeden Nicht-Star, der sich nichts wahnsinnig Hässliches kaufen möchte und daher auf was Vernünftiges spart, WAR DER PREIS SOWAS VON ERSCHWINGLICH. Und mal im Ernst, das ist so, als ob Stardoll jeder einzelnen MeDoll in ihrem Netzwerk jedes einzelne, jemals erschienene DKNY-Item VOLLKOMMEN FÜR LAU geben würde. Inzwischen ist der Bug aber gefixt, und ich kluges Kind dachte mir: 'Na, ob das nicht vielleicht ein Bug ist? Morgen sind sie vielleicht alle nur noch Starschuhe, und ich bezweifle, dass Philosophy jemals was für Nicht-Stars sein wird' und hab mir die braunen Sandalen mit Hacken gekauft. ♥

Ein tolles Geschenk, vermute ich.

Odd happenings on Stardoll...!

Look what I found strolling through the Starplaza while looking for something worth 5 SD that I could get myself (from that Play and Earn thingyli-ding, you know.)

I was SERIOUSLY surprised when I came there. I was literally overrun with surprises. But see yourself.

First odd thing: The first Upcoming Sale sign.
Means the white and red striped dress from Pretty in Pink used to be Superstars only with a price of 5 SD. Seemingly over night it changed to a non-Superstar item. Oddly I didn't find anything non-superstar that had gone Superstar over night, just like the PiP Frill Front Blouse last month (that had gone on sale after it was non-Star for about two days) and the EP Tiger Print Top (that used to be 5 SD and non-Star and over night changed to a 5 SD Superstar item)...

Second odd thing: One single pair of male shoes from Voile Gentlemen on sale already.

Third odd thing: The spoilers for Philosophy Spring 2009 had just been released and already they release it on Stardoll. Pretty late for a spoiler. (By the way, I think its name isn't right after all since it will stay on the Starplaza longer than three months only, plus spring is almost over officially...)

Fourth odd thing: Play and Earn. Still. Goes. On. I start somehow getting pissed off of it since it's pretty annoying playing that memory game in order to earn 5 SD, they might be lame for Stars but for us non-Stars they're anything but lame. They're practically filling our super-empty suites the last time. I decided not to unpack any of my items (except maybe the ones for my medoll's face since I can remember which I bought during P&E) so I have the full happiness at the end of it all. Must be kind of motivating that Stardoll HAS something good left for us non-payers after all.
Sure, on one hand it really is a great gift from Stardoll that we, though, have to 'work' for, but on the other hand it makes me wonder when it will end? I mean, honestly, this is already going on for like three weeks. It started April 27th as far as I can remember, and this way Stardoll has already given us 110 SD FOR FREE!!! Gives me some kind of bad thought they might want us to pay for all that someday, or maybe it's a bug they can't fix and Play&Earn will go one forever because they just can't make it stop. And this way Stardoll will go down.
Maybe you wonder why I think about it this way. But seriously, just check out the main page. This is the fourth week of P&E. And since they started off with both available games, the Celeb Snapshot AND the Style Memory, they didn't change anything at all, means they did neither add nor take away any of the games. Means if I'm realistic Play&Earn kind of must go on another month. Which means I seriously will end up in the dilemma that I couldn't even just DREAM of: I am not going to know WHAT TO BUY, be it on the Starplaza or in my own Suite. Means CRAM, I don't know how I should think about this.

And last but not least as far as I think the fifth odd thing: ALL THE NEW PHILOSOPHY SHOES ARE NON-SUPERSTAR ITEMS. And the heeled versions with little straps are 12 SD, as well as the flats that are 9 SD without straps each. Means, for every non-Superstar that doesn't want to buy any freaking ugly item and therefor saves up their money THIS IS A SO-AFFORDABLE PRICE. And seriously, this is kind of like Stardoll giving every single MeDoll on its network every single DKNY item that has ever been released TOTALLY FOR FREE.

Such a present, I guess.


Translation of this post to German follows tomorrow, I gotta go play&earn to buy something that I haven't really decided for yet.

Ich hab jetzt auch ein neues Konto auf Stardoll und OMG!! Das mit dem Geld is soo geil und mit den Geschenken!! I <3>:( Ich bin böse. Weil das uns gegenüber soo unfair ist. Und überhaupt... wo soll ich mit den Sachen hin, wenn ich nur einen Raum zur Verfügung habe!? Das geht nicht!! Hmm... ich hab schon gar keinen Platz mehr. Wenn Superstar nur nichts kosten würde... da wär ich sofort dabei, echt!! Wäre ich Ashley Tisdale, wäre ich 1. mal nicht in Stardoll und 2. wäre ich Superstar. Obwohl ich nicht drin wäre. Wenn ich mal berühmt bin (das wird leider nie passieren), dann bleib ich trotzdem hier!

Play and Earn...

On one hand: GORGEOUS.
Stardoll basically gives us five free Stardollars every 24 hours. The good thing is, other than free advertising presents on this case we can pick whatever we want. Be it from the Starplaza or from the Minishop. Be it heaps of presents for all our friends or that cute pair of shoes that we always had kind of wanted, but never bought because we thought it was overpriced.
Finally all our wishes come true because we get heaps of stuff. Basically for free, cause if every item we buy (and as a non-superstar that's no big thing) is less than 5 SD or up to 5 SD, we totally get it for free. In case you don't want anything (just as Laine...), you can waste it on useless accessories, just like those safety pins or buttons or hairclips. Perfect crap.
And meanwhile that celeb snapshot thingie never works for me, that style memory thing might be fucking ugly but also fucking easy. So it IS basically free money that you get, kinda.

On the other hand: STUPID CRAP! Cause I just forgot to get my free five Stardollars first but accidentally bought a 5 SD item! That's not what I call saving up... although it doesn't matter that much since I have more bucks than I'd ever expected to have some day.

Einerseits: DER HAMMER.
Stardoll schenkt uns quasi alle 24 Stunden fünf Stardollars für lau. Das Gute daran ist, dass man sich hier im Gegensatz zu all den Werbegeschenken aussuchen kann, was man haben will. Sei es nun aus dem Starplaza oder aus dem Minishop. Sei es ein Haufen Geschenke für all unsere Freunde oder dieses eine Paar Schuhe, das man schon immer irgendwie haben wollte, aber nie gekauft hat, weil man es einfach überteuert fand.
Ein Wunsch wird also wahr, zieht man mal in Betracht, dass wir uns dadurch bislang schon einen Haufen Zeugs kaufen konnten. Und das scheinbar kostenlos, denn wenn alles, was man sich so zulegt, höchstens 5 SD kostet (was als Non-Superstar kein Kunststück ist), bekommt man es für lau. Und für den Fall, dass man nichts wirklich braucht (so wie bei Laine), kann man es für irgendwelche nutzlosen Accessories aus dem Fenster schmeißen, zum Beispiel für diese Sicherheitsnadeln oder Patches oder Haarklammern. Nutzloses Zeugs halt.
Und während das Celeb Snapshot-Spiel bei mir so gut wie gar nicht funktioniert, ist das furchtbar hässliche Style Memory Kinderkacke. Also IST es quasi geschenktes Geld, was man da so bekommt, zumindest so was in der Art.

Andererseits: DÄMLICHER MIST! Ich hab nämlich grad vergessen, mir erst meine fünf Stardollars zu holen, hab aber schon mein Item für 5 SD gekauft! Das nenne ich nicht gerade Sparen... obwohl ich eigentlich nie gedacht hätte, bei dem Budget jemals mal so viele Klamotten kaufen zu können.

World Laughter Day! And Stardoll's New Way Of Dealing With New Members

Yeah, I am a little late for that, but still I wanna tell you so next year I am reminded of that.

Today is World Laughter Day!

Actually, we should have laughed for about three minutes around 2 pm but I didn't know that we had to laugh at a certain point of time. Still, I was awake at midnight already and I watched a spotshow so I laughed off my three minutes. =P

Anybody got a good joke? Or something? For example the fact that Stardoll now made up a total new system for the latest Stardoll members to register which gives them 75 Stardollars and heaps of presents but only one room? (And the amount of rooms that you get only increases with every month being a Stardoll... SUPERSTAR member!!! FYTH SD!!!

Heute ist Weltlachtag!

Eigentlich hätten wir hierzulande um 14 Uhr rum ungefähr drei Minuten lachen müssen. Blöderweise wusste ich nicht, dass man zu einer bestimmten Zeit lachen musste... Jedenfalls war ich um Mitternacht noch wach und hab Upps gesehen, also gelacht habe ich schon am Anfang des Tages. =P

Kennt jemand nen guten Witz? Zum Beispiel die Tatsache, dass Stardoll sich jetzt für neue Stardoll-Mitglieder ein komplett neues System ausgedacht hat? Das beinhaltet jetzt zwar 75 Stardollars als 'Startguthaben' und einen Haufen Geschenke, aber nur ein Zimmer?? (Mal ganz abgesehen von der Tatsache, dass man pro Monat jeweils nur einen weiteren Raum freigeschalten bekommt... wenn man Superstar ist!!! FYTH, SD!!!

Yes, I just played around a little after I found out that the fake eyelashes for 3 SD at Splendid (that I once accidentally bought) only match with one pair of beautiful eyes. Unfortunately those eyes didn't match the rest of my face so I spontaneously went through all the options. And I found a beautiful face!

Need some help...!

I don't know what to spend my money for. I found three great outfits that would look great on my medoll, but I absolutely don't know which one to choose because if I bought all three outfits my money would basically be gone and I always save some up just in case some really expensive great stuff pops up on the Starplaza...

Now here you go:




















The outift at the left side is 18 SD, especially like the combination of the socks with the boots.
The outfit my medoll's wearing is a rather summer-ish outfit, I don't know which shoes are better. I'd buy both, probably. All in all it costs 15 SD (with only one pair of shoes).
And then the outfit to the right is 22 SD but really stylish. Plus it's black and white so it's just my style.

Excuse me but this is just... ew?

Did you already check out the Starplaza today?
Stardoll has released third birthday celebration clothes. And they are disgusting!
There's an apricot dress, a grayish skirt, a yellow jumpsuit O.o and a white bazer. Okay, the blazer is passable but the rest is SO not okay!

What I really love though are the butterfly wings!
Yeah, Stardoll is selling butterfly wings. And the beautiful intense blue pair is even for non-superstars! At a price that I could not have dreamt of - 5 SD only! ♥

By the way, a new writer is just about to join this blog... she's a very good friend of mine and she is an awesome girl! And it reminded me of the fact that I actually wanted to post everything in German as well... oh my.

The may Hot Buys preview has been released. Quite cute this time, not really something I totally hate, but I can't seem to find an item that might be non-superstars as well...

Something that surprised me.
And made me wonder if this a hacking page just like teststardoll.co.nr or something.

Or even 26.

The striped tights at Pretty in Pink (the red and white ones) used to be 4 SD and for non-superstars. Now they are 5 SD and they are for superstars only.

The dreadlocks wig at Fallen Angel used to be 5 SD and for non-superstars. Now it's still 5SD but for superstars only.

The crystal embelishes mini skirt at RiO Chicas used to be 5 SD (and it's still like that) and for non-superstars. Now it's gone superstars only.

The punk tights at Fallen Angel have been superstars only ever since. Lately they were 6 SD. Now they are only 5 SD.

After the LE fuss... back to normal.

Yeah, it's now been a few days since spring 2009 LE was out. And there are still items left. It seems to me like there will be some LE until the next comes out. Makes me wonder if there will be Antidote #2, because on Antidote store you can still buy some furniture.

Coming back to normal, Stardoll hasn't released any of the so-far-superstars-only Stardolls. Those contain for example the theme dolls for Dance Attitude (that eighties stuff that was released just before The Butterfly Effect), Shym (remember that blue babydoll dress that has recetly come out?) or the Butterfly Effect itself. I guess this is the one that presents heaps of the current LE...
Furthermore, there is a new Lena Gercke one. I have been watching Germany's Next Topmodel at that time and I wanted Yvonne to win, unfortunately she didn't. (It's always the same, whenever I want someone to win on such a show he or she only makes it to the second place... *grr*) Anyway, I think she is really beautiful although her grin on the Stardoll is pretty weird...
I guess the Fudge Stardoll shows the upcoming items so the store might have a huge makeover. Everytime there's sale again I see some items being on that were released about two months ago, but the basics always stay. Oh, just reminds me of something.
By the way, everyone's been complaining about Frida Kahlo, but she was a great woman.
Oh and Lady Gaga is just annoying. No more to say.
Oh, and the Hot Buys stuff for spring 2009 is for non-superstars too now, ome things look really good, I only hope they are NOT for superstars only... like the black bow bag. I would have bought that one. And now I'm just wondering if I should get the black necklace. Would be the first Hot Buys item I'd ever get myself.

Oh, just seen that the blue zipper bag reminds me of that gorejouz bag Vanessa Hudgens owns.

Okay, I was saying something about Starplaza store's basics. That's always like the last pages on the store, mostly on the pre-last page there are the items that go for sale.
But there are several items that seemed to be there like one year ago already.

Starting with Evil Panda, there is this pink Idoru tee that always looks at me so weird. It just lets your medoll look fat I think.
At Bisou's, we can't seem to get rid of those leather overknee boots. Tingeling has not only had the ballerina costumes ever since, there is also that baroque stuff and the pirate's costume. I seriously thought about buying this sometimes, especially my bud Lainz who has the same name as her fave comp game character, Elaine Marley from Monkey Island. Which is a game about the wannabe pirate Guybrush Threepwood, so there you go she had a reason for buying this stuff. Good thing she didn't.
Ooh, Voile. Voile has basically always the same dresses, only re-releases, nothing new. Never. Seriously. The viollet RnB Diva Dress has always been there, the pink princess dress, the pinkish black Ashley prom dress, that's nothing new! Same goes to the yellow free Superstar dress, the bridal dresses on the third floor and the Dreamgirls dress. Which you can only wear if your medoll has dark skin and that fuzzy hairstyle. Oh, and the super famous 1 SD clutch. Everone thinks they need bags so they get themselves this one. Because it's cheap and cute. And pink. I don't like it at all.
Stardoll seems to be the store that brings us back to the times when Stardoll clothes were hand drawn. The worst stuff can always be found here. (Just to mention it, Stardoll always switches less items than other stores, so if there are several items out of the row here it definitely means they'll be on sale.) And still, Stardoll was the first store to present strapless black bras for every kind of skin. Although some people thought the skin color wouldn't matter so they bought something that just didn't match. And stupid Stardoll makes people that change their skin color buy new bras. Over and over again.
Pretty in Pink basically has the oldest stuff. As far as I know they even have their own old Stardoll. I once went to that section and I saw they also had violet tights, but I had never seen them in the store. The next day I went for a stroll at the Starplaza they were there. As if I had given them a sign to re-release them secretly. Without displaying them in the New section at the entrance.
The pink Hot Buys stuff and the skirts always go here. What I count to the basics in here is for example the whiteish dress with the pink belt, the rose dress, the Ashley dotted tee, all the kinds of tights, the white Ashley dress with the turquoise belt... Basically pretty in Pink is THE Ashley Tisdale shop. Although the turquoise musical dancing dress was in Tingeling store, at PiP you can find pink Ash boots, black Ash boots, pinkish high heels that Ash wore in HSM1 (when crashing into the bathroom where she heard Gabriella singing), her white hat with the black dots...
Fudge releases all the stylish stuff that doesn't look so brazilian. Like the dancing stuff, the rehearsing stuff, like H&M, kind of. And the basics here are the green glitter top, the white fudge top (that once was non-superstars and Lainz bought it), the pink Bollywood top, the black rehearsing pants, the yellow strap top, the white stringed top...
Folk is a disgusting store. It's like everytime I visit it to look for the accessories I might buy I start choking. Because it's all so folklore and I don't like that. And what has been there probably since it's been opened is the brown adrianan dancing dress, the Shakira items (yeah, this is the inoffcial Shakira store at Starplaza) and the violet dirndl! Plus the violet shoes! That seemed to be Hot buys for some unknown reason because they're nothing but ew!
RiO is like the brazilian store. Something carnivalish, something very very short is always there. Or anything that won't go with any of the other stores. Or how could you explain there is the black bow Hot Buys bag directly below a red gym pants, a beige tank top, or next to green army jeans? Which is close to a black top with white ruffles, near a pair of orange pumps and then a yellow shirt with a lip print on it? Weird store, really weird store.
Before it's released lots of Britney Spears items (to support her, I guess), there have already been lost of items that remind me somehoe of Beyonce. Like she went shopping there for her tour appearances. Makes me wonder when there will be something about Christina Aguilera...? (Since there is even Heidi Klum...) Oh, and whoever is looking for belts: go to RiO. There are a billion belts.
And Fallen Angel of course is the Goth store. Everything you can find here is red, black or white. Although I have to say I love these punk tights and I want them! And the basics in here are probably the wings. And the cranium bag that looks like it's Avril Lavigne's.

And finally, after that Lady Gaga hype has passed us by (hopefully...), there is finally some new springish cute stuff in the Starplaza!
For example there are these two flouncy skirts! Which I love! They remind me of Pretty Cure sometimes. But I love them!!! I want the blue one! (Obviously Stardoll messed up the attributes for this because when you search blue stuff you find the pink skirt and when you search pink stuff you find the blue skirt...)
The pink blouse is a recolored re-release of some Hot Buys blouse but I like this one better. Then there is the well-known shape of a pull-over that first came in a grey shade with horse prints on it, as a reference to Disney starlet Vanessa Hudgens (who wore this item for a photo shoot). Then it was released in a dark blue shade, later on in a yellow one (around the time I came to Stardoll, and I still know that because it was the first item I ever bought <3) and now it is back in the same gray shade but with blackish butterflies on it.
Then there are several new hair items, one as a reference to spring 2009 LE, but still all pretty cute. (The rose headband reminds me of one Rayman Raving Rabbids mini game where you had to roll a ball through a rabbids brain! EWW!!!). Then there's the Hot Buys headband. It has gorejouz graphics but it's just plain pink and I don't like that.

And then there is like a billion of new springish dresses in the New section! They are part of the Butterfly Effect theme and I love them! Especially the blue butterfly dress <3 and the black leopard one <3. Coming with that are heaps of new shoes and a few bangles, a butterflyish pair of tights and the Hot Buys necklace. Which I love.
